Other bulbs may be difficult to replace. We recommend that you have the bulbs replaced by your SUBARU dealer if necessary.

A: REMOVAL
1) Remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle.

2) Remove the rear vehicle speed sensor, and then remove the extension case. <Ref. to 5AT-65, REMOVAL, Extension Case.>
3) Pull out the rear drive shaft from c
Check the fluid level monthly.
1. Drive the vehicle several miles to raise the temperature of the transmission
fluid up to normal operating temperature; 158 to 1768F (70 to 808C) is normal.
2. Park the vehicle on a level surface and set the parking brake.
