To open the console, push on the lid lightly and it will automatically open.
CAUTION
When your vehicle is parked in the sun or on a warm day, the inside of the overhead console heats up. Avoid storing plastic or other heatvulnerable or flammable articles such as a lighter in the overhead console.

A: REMOVAL
1) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2) Remove the air intake boot.
H4 model: <Ref. to IN(H4DOTC)-10, REMOVAL, Air Intake Boot.>
H6 model: <Ref. to IN(H6DO)-7, REMOVAL, Air Intake Boot.>
3) Remove the VDC control module & hydraulic control unit (VDCCM&H/U)
AT and CVT models
CAUTION
If you restart the engine while the vehicle is moving, shift the select lever
into the “N” position. Do not attempt to place the select lever of a moving vehicle
into the “P” position.

2. Turn off unnecessary lights and accessories.
