Subaru Outback (BR): How to play back a CD
NOTE
For type A audio, if a disc that the player cannot read has been loaded, the player will display the message “CHECK DISC”.

1) Open the trunk lid.
2) Remove the trunk lid damper stay.
Float the lock pin using a flat tip screwdriver, etc. and slide it.
