Subaru Outback (BR): Cargo area cover (if equipped)
The cargo area cover is provided for covering the cargo area and to protect its
contents from direct sunlight. This cover is detachable to make room for additional
cargo.

To extend the cover, pull the end of the cover out of the housing, then insert
its hooks into the catches as shown. To rewind it, unhook it from the catches and
it will rewind automatically. You
1. Rewind the cover.
2. Hold down the button on the righthand rear quarter panel and lift up the right-hand
cover housing.
3. Remove the cover housing.
The cargo area cover can be stowed in under the cargo floor.
1. To open the lid, pull the handle up.
2. To keep the lid open, hang the hook (provided on the back of the lid) on the
rear edge o

1. Remove the hydraulic hose in the power steering system from the clip on the
air intake duct.
2. Remove the hydraulic hose from the clip on the right side of the air cleaner
case.
3. Unsnap the two clamps holding the air cleaner case cover.
Tire Identification Number (TIN) is marked on the intended outboard sidewall.
