Subaru Outback (BR): Checking the brake fluid level
CAUTION
Prevent brake fluid from coming into contact with your eyes, as it can cause harm. In case of eye contact, immediately rinse them thoroughly with clean water. It's recommended to wear eye protection when working with brake fluid for safety reasons.
Brake fluid has the ability to absorb moisture from the air, which can lead to a decrease in braking performance.
Frequent refilling of brake fluid may indicate a leak. If there are concerns about a potential issue, have the vehicle inspected at your SUBARU dealer.
WARNING
During the process of adding brake fluid, ensure that no dirt enters the reservoir.
Avoid splashing brake fluid on painted surfaces or rubber components, as the alcohol content in the fluid can cause damage.

Exercise caution to prevent spillage of brake fluid, as it may result in an unpleasant odor, smoke, or even a fire if it comes into contact with the exhaust pipe. If any spillage occurs on the exhaust pipe, promptly clean it off.
Check the brake fluid level in Outback (BR) 2010-2015 monthly using the "MAX" and "MIN" level marks on the outside of the reservoir. If the fluid level is below "MIN," add the recommended brake fluid up to the "MAX" mark. Only use brake fluid from a sealed container for refilling purposes.
