 Rear Differential (T-type)

A: REMOVAL 1) Shift the select lever or gear shift lever to neutral. 2) Release the parking brake. 3) Disconnect the ground cable from battery. 4) Loosen the wheel nuts. 5) Lift up the vehicle. 6) Remove the rear wheels. 7) Drain differential gear oil. <Ref. to DI-23, REPLACEMENT, Different

 Tail/Back-up light (Outback)

1. Apply a flat-head screwdriver to the light cover as shown in the illustration, and pry the light cover off from the rear gate trim. 1) Back-up light 2) Tail light 2. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and remove it. 3. Pull the bulb out of the bulb socket and replace it with a new
