*SRS: This stands for supplemental restraint system. This name is used because the airbag system supplements the vehicle’s seatbelts.
Your vehicle is equipped with a crash sensing and diagnostic module, which will record the use of the seatbelt by the front passenger when any of the SRS frontal, side and curtain airbags deploys.

Valet mode
When you choose the valet mode, the alarm system does not operate. In valet mode,
the remote transmitter is used only for locking and unlocking the doors and rear
gate (Outback) and panic activation.
To enter the valet mode, change the setting of your vehicle’s alarm system for
deactivation
Oil Pressure Switch
A: REMOVAL
1) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2) Remove the generator. <Ref. to SC(H4SO)-18,
REMOVAL, Generator.>
3) Disconnect the terminal from oil pressure switch.
4) Remove the oil pressure switch.
B: INSTALLATION
1) Apply liquid gasket to the oil pressure switch
threads.
