NOTE
In the event that the vehicle’s battery is replaced, discharged or disconnected, it will be necessary to start the vehicle a minimum of one time using the key prior to activating the remote engine start system. This is required to allow the vehicle electronic systems to resynchronize.

1) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2) Remove the rear door trim. <Ref. to EI-61, REAR DOOR, REMOVAL, Door Trim.>
3) Remove the rear door speaker assembly.
Remove the screws.
Disconnect the harness connector and remove the rear speaker assembly.

To decrease the speed (by the “RES/SET” switch)
Press the “RES/SET” switch to the “SET” side and hold it until the vehicle reaches
the desired speed. Then, release the switch. The vehicle speed at that moment will
be memorized and treated as the new set speed.
