A SUBARU dealer can change the settings of the functions shown in the following
table to meet your personal requirements. Contact the nearest SUBARU dealer for
details.

1) Remove the door trim. <Ref. to EI-60, REMOVAL, Door Trim.>
2) Remove the screws to detach the front inner remote handle.
B: INSTALLATION
1) Before installation, check the following items.

SRS airbag system warning light
When the ignition switch is turned to the “ON” position, the SRS airbag system
warning light will illuminate for approximately 6 seconds and turn off. This shows
the SRS frontal airbag and SRS side airbag and SRS curtain airbag and seatbelt pretensioners
are in normal operation.
