A: REMOVAL
1) Change the front hood damper mounting position
from (A) to (B), and completely open the front
hood.
Tightening torque:
20 N*m (2.0 kgf-m, 14.8 ft-lb)
2) Remove the V-belt covers.

A: REMOVAL
1) Change the front hood damper mounting position
from (A) to (B), and completely open the front
hood.
Tightening torque:
20 N*m (2.0 kgf-m, 14.8 ft-lb)

WARNING
Never tow AWD vehicles (including AT, MT and CVT) with the front wheels raised
off the ground while the rear wheels are on the ground, or with the rear wheels
raised off the ground while the front wheels are on the ground. This will cause
the vehicle to spin away due to the operation
Service mode
In service mode, the remote engine start function is temporarily disabled to
prevent the system from unexpectedly starting the engine while being serviced.

1. Enter the vehicle and close all vehicle doors and the trunk/rear gate.
