1) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2) Remove the cover (A) and clip (B) from air intake
boot assembly.
3) Loosen the clamp (A) which connects the air intake
boot assembly and ai

1) Release the fuel pressure.
2) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
3) Open the fuel filler lid and remove the fuel filler
cap.
4) Remove the cover (A) and clip

WARNING
Do not operate the engine with the air cleaner element removed. The air cleaner
element not only filters intake air but also stops flames if the engine backfires.
If the air cleaner element is not installed when the engine backfires, you could
be burned.

A: REMOVAL
1) Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the front wheels.
2) Remove the axle nut.
CAUTION:
Do not loosen the axle nut while the front axle is loaded. Doing so may damage
the hub bearing.
Lift the crimped section of axle nut.
Remove the axle nut using a socket wrench while depressing
